U.S. Commerce Secretary Admits Supply Chain Issue A "Significant Worry"

The U.S. Commerce Secretary is admitting that supply chain issues are a "significant worry" when it comes to the country's economic recovery.

On CBS' Face The Nation, Gina Raimondo noted a $50 billion investment for the industry that President Biden has pitched in his jobs package. Raimondo believes there is bipartisan support for the investment in the industry, and lawmakers need to take action as soon as possible.

Raimondo also credits the significant loss to her department on the SolarWinds attack, and stressed the need for government agencies to invest in an intelligence-based cybersecurity approach as well as increasing attention to technology supply chains.
