Four underage men from Michigan were arrested following a drunken horse-and-buggy ride through the streets of Beaverton Township. A motorist called 911 after the men started throwing beer cans at their car around 4 p.m. on Sunday (December 29).

Police located the group riding down a rural road in the small town of about 1,800 people. The officers pulled over the buggy, and the men lied about their ages and refused to give their names. The officers could tell the men were drunk and found several opened and unopened containers of alcohol inside of the enclosed buggy.

The four men, identified as Levei J. Mast, 20, Andrew B. Zook, 19, Joseph S. Miller, 20, and Joseph J. Troyer, 19, were taken into custody and charged with felony obstruction of justice and disorderly conduct. They were also given a citation for being minors in possession of alcohol.

Authorities did not say how the men got the horse-and-buggy.
