As heard on today's Ag Life, meeting the UN SDG Zero Hunger goal by 2030 will be a large undertaking, but Bayer believes young ag leaders are key to solving it. To empower the next generation to meet this goal, Bayer is hosting its biennial Youth Ag Summit in Brasilia, Brazil, on Nov. 4-6, 2019, for 100 youth advocates to brainstorm and create ideas to help solve food insecurity. Applications are now open for youth between the ages of 18-25, and we believe some of your listeners may know of great candidates who should apply.
During the Summit, selected delegates will work on an idea on how to solve food security and be given the framework, support and mentorship on how to implement it once they get home. Interested youth can apply online here. Applications are due January 10, 2019, and selected delegates from each country will be sponsored by Bayer to attend.
