PLAN B: Dem Chair Vows to ‘Move Forward’ with Obstruction, Corruption Investigations into Trump
House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler vowed to “move forward” with multiple investigations into the Trump administration Sunday despite special counsel Robert Mueller’s recent report that confirmed there was “no collusion” during the 2016 election.
“We’re going to move forward with our investigations of obstruction of justice, abuses of power, corruption, to defend the rule of law, which is our job,” Nadler said Sunday. “It’s a broader mandate than the special prosecutor had.”
Attorney General William Barr’s “conclusions raise more questions than they answer given the fact that Mueller uncovered evidence that in his own words does not exonerate the president,” added Nadler.
