Governor Newsom at his press conference today said effective immediately, 19 counties must close indoors operations for the following sectors of business:
- Restaurants
- Wineries
- Movie theaters & family entertainment
- Zoos and museums
- Cardrooms
- Bars
They must close ALL operations.
This is expected to last for at least three weeks.

As Fourth of July weekend approaches, he encouraged counties with closures to cancel firework shows. LA County beaches and all southern California and Bay Area beach parking facilities to be closed.
