Deaths From Drugs, Alcohol, Suicides May Rise Over Next Decade

A new report predicts the number of deaths from drugs, alcohol and suicides will increase substantially over the next decade.  The Trust for America's Health says that from 2006 to 2015, 1 million people died from either drugs, alcohol or suicide. That's one person every 4 minutes in 2015 alone.

The community health non-profit says that if current trends hold, those mortality numbers will rise rapidly. The group predicts a 60% increase in deaths from drugs, alcohol or suicide by 2025.
